About Maps for Math

Maps for Math is a museum of live math. Every exhibit already works when you arrive. Drag a slider and see where quadratics, systems of equations, Ohm’s law, and more show up in real life.

Each exhibit has three layers: Play for a quick feel, Understand for how the equation and the picture connect, and Use, a unit-aware calculator you can use for real work.

Every exhibit has a permanent ID (like QUA-0001) shown at the bottom of its page, so you can refer to it exactly.
